CODE OF ETHICS
It is the responsibility of the clown, when representing Cowtown Clowns Alley #135 to abide by certain guidelines.

Costumes should be professional, clean, and in good repair.

Make the best of any situation, and do not complain about settings, facilities, etc.

Once makeup and costume are complete, the clown should remain entirely in character until out of the public eye.

No profanity, smoking, drinking or abusive behavior should be permitted while in the public eye.

Once a member takes on an obligation to represent the Alley, they are expected to fulfill that obligation.  Be it advised that the clown accepting the obligation should coordinate with either the president or the Vice -President to verify the type of presentation.

Be it recognized that clowning is a serious art and each individual should continually upgrade their status.

Each new member will be expected to read the Code of Ethics for COAI and Cowtown Clowns, and pledge to uphold them.  Failure to uphold this code of ethics could result in the suspension of he member.
